Diagnose / Script Diagnosis
Know what needs attention before rewriting.
An independent assessment of one draft, with clear priorities and a practical next-draft action plan.
Script Diagnosis
What the work
looks like.
A rigorous read of the screenplay as it exists now: dramatic structure, protagonist and dramatic centre, motivation, arcs, relationships, emotional architecture, pacing, tension, turning points, scene function, dialogue, exposition, performance possibilities and visual storytelling. Existing strengths are identified so they are not lost in the rewrite.
Best for
Completed or substantially completed screenplays needing a professional assessment before the next rewrite.
